This weekend was a pretty interesting one....
Noah's big celebration was certainly hyped up and outside of the amazing start with the bike and mini dinner and cake we had...
It turned out to be a learning experience LOL --- As the "festival" we wanted to take to ride horses, get some neat horse riding gear, play, bounce houses, rides....
All turned into being a place more for the country folk who love a good line dance and beer to pop up and look at crafts and listen to country music πΆ (Laughing inside hard, but true)...
We made good fun of it and they had a good time! He got to play with baby goats, do a bounce house and build his own slushie on a running spinning wheel(very interesting if you havn't heard of them)....
But we tried to make it fun and then got dinner with cousins so it all worked out.
You see, many of you undervalue the importance of your health.
You are "ok" feeling tired, and get it as the "normal" and you sacrifice yourself for other's needs and think it's BETTER.
Well, it's not...if you are showing up 50% to work and family or your workouts ....heck, even 70%....
Why?
Because his birthday I had 100% and MAN was it amazing. Over 25k steps, a solid workout and running around mentally clear, drilling my work and making Noah feel LOVED.
Ending it singing in the car on the way home from moms when we woke up dancing in the gym...LIFE CAN'T be beaten when you have your health....
But then many of you don't know how to fix it or how certain components WRECK your body worse when you think they are doing GOOD!
Maybe it's your DIET you think you are doing well on and it's making you worse...maybe the supplement or pills....maybe your own training. (YOU CAN'T TRAIN like you did in your 20s)....
Whatever you think you have, remember the nervous system PLAYS a role!
Your BODY wants to feel “safe” …..for good reason….YOUR CELLS. The brain and body connection rely heavily on our limbic system. This is responsible for controlling our Vagus Nerve and how we regulate stress and our body’s natural “protective” barriers they build to stop harm.
What is harm?
Past Trauma, Dieting, Stress, Lack of Sleep, WRONG supplements, or LACK of self care(people pleasers) — I get it, and what many of you don’t realize is your cells are NOW building walls that protect you EVEN if you are doing the right things….π
They want “normal” —— and if the NORMAL you have been giving it is FEAR, STRESS, NO FOOD, POOR SLEEP and ANXIETY — well, you will be HARD to move out of that place unless you work it!
Then working it won’t fix right away as it knows you are trying to do something NEW and wont like that either π ( I hope this makes sense )
But really, energy is formed by ATP which derives from strong mitochondrial presence, and those cells need it!
So long story short, stop looking for pills all the time, and even note good food and sleep MAY NOT be the way to fix your exhaustion.
